REPORT OF MSLSA ACTIVITIES DURING JULY 2013
Training of 18 selected Para-Legal Volunteers (Orientation Course) from Mizoram Law College (MLC) and various NGOs viz., Positive Women Network (PWN), Samaritan Society of Mizoram (SSM), Volunteers for Community Mental Health VOLCOM), Grace Inn (GI), & Gan Sabra (GS), held at Mediation Room, MSLSA Office, Aizawl on 01.07.2013. Participation of members of the said NGOs is a part of the follow up action on the discussions of the Joint Consultation the MSLSA had with Mizoram State Aids Control Society (MSACS)

held on 05.07.2013 under the Chairmanship of the Executive Chairman, Hon’ble Mr Justice Ujjal Bhuyan at Judge`s Chamber (Court No. 1) GHC, Aizawl Bench

The Govt. of Mizoram issued Notification declaring the Member Secretary, MSLSA, as Budget Controlling Officer in respect of the State Budget allocated for the Authority MSLSA

Training of 18 selected Para-Legal Volunteers (Induction Course) from MLC and various NGOs viz., PWN, SSM, VOLCOM, Grace Inn, and Gan Sabra was held on 11.07.2013 at Mediation Room, MSLSA Office, Aizawl.

Lok Adalat was organised on 12.07.2013 during which 9 cases were listed; 2 cases were settled; and another 2 closed
